“Oh Father, I praise you for this month when we can remember and celebrate the gift of Your Son. How we thank You for Your steadfast love and grace in sending Jesus to live among us, to demonstrate Your nature. How we are humbled by His birth in a manger with animals in a stable when He deserved a mansion. With full hearts, we glorify You for His willingness to hang in shame on a Roman cross, shedding His blood for our sins. Oh, Father, may your Son, Jesus, be the focus of December, rather than parties and gifts. Make us even more thankful for what He gave us so we can praise Your name all our days. In the name of Jesus, Amen.”
In this month, where we reflect on “the year” of uncertainty and “the year” of politcal chaos, Jehovah Shalom, The One, is certain.
