We just celebrated Easter, which is the resurrection of Jesus. Do you ever have a day that you wonder if that really happened? We all do. Today many refuse to believe in miracles. No one wants to believe a lie, so let’s check our anchor. How can we be sure the resurrection happened?
My guest this week was my husband, Ray Simmons. He is a Bible scholar and loves apologetics. He covered historical evidences and offered some guidance on being certain so you can answer your kids when the ask. Plus, I’m adding links here you can use.

This is the second of two podcasts on the Progressive Church.
The Bible says the church is the pillar and support of the truth, and if churches are moving away from the Bible and truth, we should be concerned. Our children’s future depends on giving them a good foundation in truth. Last week we talked about the progressive church. Lucas Miles was my guest, and he explained progressives are moving away from the truth of the Bible. You may also see them embrace the woke mindset.
This week Lucas gave us action steps. What if our pastor will not cover current issues? What if we hear themes that concern us? What can we do?

Author Lisa Betz was my guest this week. She loves the Roman era and wrote two mysteries in that time period. A Roman Christian also lived counterculturally. From her research, she gave us a historical perspective on living by the Bible in our pop culture.
