We celebrate Mother’s Day this week, and I look back and remember how Mom folded towels. She always folded them in thirds and in thirds again. As a child, I thought everyone did it that way. Now I wonder if Mom did that so they would fit in her narrow linen closet. Of course, now I know not everyone folds this way.

As Mother’s Day comes around again, you may wonder how to encourage moms who are different. They might wash their dishes instead of using a dishwasher. Or they might use organic soap. How can we reach out to moms who don’t look like us? Author Peggy Sue Wells shared wisdom this week on how people and families can get along.
