Raising five children taught me how creative kids can be. I never knew what new thing one of them might try, and now that they are grown, that’s still true. However, having a disabled child upends your world. First, you deal with the emotions, and then you try to cope.
This week, I gathered a couple talented ladies who have special children. Sharon Tedford is an artist, singer, and writer, and Carol McCracken writes and does adult discipleship ministry. Both share what they learned to encourage moms who struggle with that new diagnosis.
