This month we celebrate Jesus. Whenever I think of His grace, I’m overwhelmed with thanksgiving. He’s the reason we have eternal life and hope for this life. He can heal all our deepest wounds and satisfy our longings. He will bring justice to the oppressed, and best of all, He gives life.
This month we want to revisit a devotional video that is dear to our ministry, plus it comes with homework and DIY activities for you, as well as your young and older kiddies. Plus, we are thrilled to provide coloring and copywork for those training and mastering their writing.
And as we do each month, let’s pray together: Dear Father, thank you for sending Jesus to Earth. I’m grateful all authority will rest on Him in eternity because He will be kind and fair. I pray He will be my counselor this month and call me to rest rather than overwork or overdo. May He keep me close so I will be filled with His peace as I celebrate with family and friends. How wonderful that You are mighty and able to do whatever I ask or think. Shower me with your blessings this month. In Jesus name, Amen.

Discover the benefits of Thanksgiving.
If you live long enough, you will face trials. Gut wrenching stuff. The Lord even promised we would have troubles in this life. However, the Word also says “In everything give thanks…” (I Thess. 5:18) On the surface, that doesn’t make a lot of sense. No one enjoys the hard parts of life. I’d rather sip tea and read a mystery novel about someone else’s problems.
My guest this week was Carol Leatham. She and her husband planned on a vacation, but he ended up in a mental hospital, and she wasn’t sure how to cope. She discovered the benefits of thanksgiving and wrote about her journey in Finding Joy in my Messy Life. Her answers were raw and real.

If you live very long, you will face trials. Gut wrenching stuff. The Lord even promised we would have trouble in this life. So why on earth does the Word say to ‘be thankful in all things?’ (I Thessalonians 5:18). That really seems crazy because none of us like the hard parts of life. I would rather sip tea and read a mystery novel about some other person’s problems.
My guest this week was Author Carol Leatham. After living through a long-term trial, she wrote Finding Joy in My Messy Life. Her answers are raw but real.
